VALKENBURG - In the investigation into the Valkenburg loverboy affair, police have already questioned at least ten men. They allegedly had paid sex in a hotel with a 16-year-old girl.
This was confirmed to Dagblad de Limburger/Limburgs Dagblad by three Limburg lawyers who are assisting one or more suspects. They say none of their clients has been taken into custody.
In all cases it would be men of whom it has been established that they both had telephone contact with the teenager and had been in Valkenburg in the first half of October. The 21-year-old Armin A. from Heerlen is said to have offered the girl to at least eighty men as a loverboy.
The evidence that the men had been in or near the Hotel Botterweck, where the affair took place, the investigators get from data from cell phone traffic masts.
