Prosecutors have demanded hefty prison sentences against five of the six suspects in an extensive human trafficking case.
The prime suspect, a 46-year-old Hungarian woman living in the Park City area, heard six years in prison.
Rape
The case revolves around a group of Hungarians and one Limburger, who allegedly forced Hungarian women into prostitution in Limburg. The youngest suspect, 21-year-old Csaba K., is facing four years in prison for human trafficking, abuse of prostitutes and multiple rape of an underage girl, according to the prosecution.
Sittardener
Twenty months in prison were demanded against 61-year-old Jan G. from Sittard, of which five months were suspended. Two Hungarians were also sentenced to two years and 22 months in prison, respectively.
All suspects were missing from the courtroom in Maastricht; their lawyers will speak Wednesday.
