Wheelchair and walker push murder suspects into Amsterdam court (Telegraaf.nl)

AMSTERDAM - They were the most unlikely murder suspects ever to appear in an Amsterdam court Monday. 72-year-old Lech T. shuffled in behind a walker. The 73-year-old Zeev J. rolled in in a wheelchair. The elderly were on trial for involvement in the murder of 23-year-old package delivery man Anas Hajji Abdulsalam.
Against the eldest of the two, Zeev J., the prosecutor demanded eighteen years in prison. Against Lech T. for complicity fourteen years. If the court adopts the demands, the chances of the men ever getting out of prison alive are slim.
