MONTFORT/LINNE - Councilwoman Hiltje van der Ende will file a request for compensation with the Public Prosecutor's Office on behalf of the 30-year-old woman from Linne who was arrested in early February as a suspect in connection with the death of 67-year-old They Suskens of Montfort.
The woman was released after only one night in police custody. The Montforter was found to have died in an accident, an investigation revealed. How large the claim will be is not yet clear. "I want to see with my client what is reasonable. She was wrongly arrested and detained as a suspect," Van der Ende said.
