NIJMEGEN - The 41-year-old man and the 32-year-old woman arrested Sunday in the investigation into a number of shooting incidents in Nijmegen were arraigned Wednesday at the magistrate's court and remanded in custody for a maximum of 14 days. Police are investigating the possible relationship between the suspects and the 68-year-old woman who was found dead in her home on the Cronjéstraat Saturday night.

The 47-year-old man who was shot that same night in the Tolhuis neighborhood has not yet been heard. However, police are busy hearing people in the man's vicinity. The victim was seriously injured in the shooting.

Police are still busy with trace evidence and interviewing witnesses. Bullet casings and fragments were found at the two shooting locations.
