EINDHOVEN - Three Eindhoven residents (ages 20, 22 and 25) suspected of human trafficking and prostituting a total of five young women are at large pending trial. A fourth suspect, according to the prosecutor the main protagonist in the case, does remain in jail.
The latter, a 27-year-old Eindhoven resident, was arrested in May of this year after several women reported him. In the investigation that followed, the trail eventually led to the three other suspects allegedly involved in human trafficking.
The substance of the case was not yet heard on Tuesday. This is scheduled for April 2013 at the earliest. As the suspects have already been detained for six and five months respectively, the lawyers therefore asked for the provisional release of their clients. The judge agreed in three cases.
