Suspect of shooting incident reports to police station (Limburger.nl)
The suspect in a shooting incident two weeks ago in Venlo turned himself in to police Tuesday morning.
The man involved was a 27-year-old man from Peel and Maas. In the shooting, a 22-year-old man from Venlo was wounded in his lower leg.
Word of mouth
The suspect had an altercation with a 22-year-old man from Venlo on the Nijmeegseweg. Moments later, the suspect fired a light caliber firearm or rifle at the Venlo man's lower leg. The man was injured, but was able to return home after a brief visit to the hospital.
Police conducted trace evidence at the scene of the incident and found a shell casing.
