Suspects free in exploitation case (Telegraph)

AMSTERDAM - Two escort bosses from Amsterdam suspected of large-scale human trafficking go free. Justice has dismissed the cases against the entrepreneurs Arne S. and Stefan B., confirms a spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office. The duo is going to claim damages of many thousands of euros.

'Loss company punishment enough'

"After investigation, we have decided to proceed with a policy filing This means that we believe that both accused men have already been sufficiently punished by the fact that the municipality of Amsterdam revoked the license for their escort service. So this has not been a case with too little evidence," said Wim de Bruin of the National Prosecutor's Office. Two of the escort bosses' drivers will also not be prosecuted further.

The then owners S. and B. of escort service Please Escort from Amsterdam were part of an extensive investigation by the National Criminal Investigation Department into illegal prostitution in well-known hotel chains in our country. Many hundreds of whoremongers, who were alerted by detectives by text message during the investigation, were able to pick a woman through sites pleasure-escort.nl and zuzana.nl.

These were Eastern European ladies who were lured to our country under false pretenses by a Romanian gang. The two Amsterdam escort bosses were allegedly involved in this exploitation. "With this investigation a lot of taxpayers' money has been wasted," said their lawyer Serge Weening after the dismissal decision. "I am preparing a compensation of thousands of euros, because they were prevented from working for a long time."

According to Wim de Bruin of the National Prosecutor's Office in Rotterdam, the investigation into illegal prositution behind zuzana.nl road is still ongoing. Several people are suspects in this case. "In general terms, I can say that this whole investigation has had a very big impact on the market. Public awareness of the fact that some things within the escort world are not right has grown considerably."
