An 18-year-old scooter rider died of her injuries after a collision on the Rijksweg in Linne last weekend. The accident happened on June 16, when the scooter was struck by a passenger car. The woman was driving around 2:20 a.m. on the traffic circle, near the Veestraat. There she was hit by a car. The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital. The driver of the car was arrested. It was an 18-year-old man from the municipality of Roermond. The police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
