Scholar acquitted after threatening via twitter (Limburger.nl)
The 17-year-old pupil from Meerssen who in September threatened via Twitter to commit a massacre at his school has been acquitted. His lawyers Serge Weening and Erik Maassen confirm this. According to them, legally there was no threat, "because the file does not show that the person who was threatened could have taken notice of it." The school was tipped off by third parties, but the now ex-pupil had already indicated at the time that it was a "test."
