Witnesses to robbery heard again

MIDDELBURG - The court in Middelburg did not reach the substantive hearing today on the armed robberies of 'The Phone Home' on the Scheldestraat in Vlissingen (June 12, 2009) and the Aldi on the Paspoortstraat in Oost-Souburg on December 3, 2010.

At the request of the attorney for one of the three suspects, a 23-year-old Souizen, several witnesses will be heard again. The case has been held indefinitely. The two other suspects, a 29-year-old man from Almere and a 32-year-old man from Lelystad will also have to wait for their cases to be heard, given the intertwined nature of the cases.

At The Phone Home on the day in question, several armed men entered the store and threatened the staff with a firearm. With a fat eight thousand euros and a pair of sports shoes, they left the store. On December 3 last year, the Aldi was robbed by armed men and the staff was forced to take money from the safe.

When the case will be heard again is not yet known.
