LEIDEN - The brothers M.S. (27) and A.S. (28) from Leiden have "played for their own judge" in a conflict with three brothers from another family. They kidnapped someone from that family and during a confrontation in a business building on the Flevoweg in Leiden, one of the two brothers fired a shot. The judges in the Hague District Court think the two should be jailed. The altercation arose September 2021 in a shisha lounge in Amsterdam. There, M.S. had been beaten by one of the men from the other family because he would not make a shed available. The 27-year-old Leiden man did not take the beatings. He sought out a member of the other family at home, forced him into his car, and threatened to kill the man's brothers. The man was then pushed into the trunk of a car, and held for a short time. A.S. drove the car.
