MAASTRICHT - A hotel guest in Maastricht was expecting an unpleasant surprise early Monday evening. When she went to the toilet in her hotel room, the toilet bowl turned out to contain a 2.5-meter python. The snake had coiled itself neatly. The woman then sounded the alarm at the front desk. In the meantime, hotel staff turned out to have found an exotic animal collection in another hotel room, one floor below. Which hotel is involved is not being disclosed.
