Two more arrests in shisha boss murder case (1Limburg.nl)
Police have again made arrests in the investigation into the deadly shooting in early February in Geleen.
In the process, Hafed Merkikou, owner of a shisha bar in Sittard, was killed.

Those arrested are a 28-year-old man from Maastricht and a 29-year-old Heerlen man. Earlier, a 24-year-old man from Stein was arrested on suspicion of involvement in this crime. He is in police custody.

Further investigation and questioning should shed more light on the background of the incident. Clues in the ongoing investigation put police on the trail of the new suspects.
On the night of Tuesday, February 7 to Wednesday, February 8, Merkikou was shot in his home on the Beatrixlaan in Geleen. He was severely wounded and died at the scene from his injuries.
