Neighbor boy confesses 'slipper murder'

BRUNSSUM - The seventeen-year-old neighbor boy of Arnol Vink 77 from Brunssum has confessed to having stabbed the elderly man to death. Vink allegedly tried to defend himself against his robbers, who may have been after his PIN number, with a knife. The seventeen-year-old took that away and stabbed him. Several reliable sources say so. In the "slipper murder" case (Arnold Vink was wearing only one slipper when he was found on March 10 this year; the other one is missing), four Brunssumers have been arrested: one boy of 15, two boys of 17 and a man of 22.The seventeen-year-old neighbor boy-who lived a few doors down from the man today-allegedly broke into Vink's house on March 5 on his own. He would then have seen on a bank statement that the elderly Brunssumer had a considerable amount of money in his account. Reason for him to go back a few days later, together with three friends.

With his 22-year-old co-defendant, the neighbor boy allegedly entered Wink's home masked, while the other two were outside. Wink allegedly immediately started screaming and grabbed a knife. The 17-year-old took that off.
