The Haarlem District Court handed down prison sentences of up to three years to eight suspects in the August 2021 abduction. Another suspect was acquitted of the kidnapping, but was sentenced to 12 months in prison for extortion and threats. A tenth suspect was acquitted altogether.

Kerkrade - She spent 43 days in pretrial detention, but on Wednesday Yordana P. (50) was acquitted of perjury and forgery.
