MAASTRICHT - The 21-year-old mother of the 10-week-old baby from Landgraaf who died under suspicious circumstances last week was released last night. The 36-year-old father of the little boy made a confession.According to the woman's lawyer Van Oppen, she was released after a confrontation between her and her partner took place yesterday: "They were interrogated together. From that confrontation what was already suspected became completely clear, namely that my client had nothing to do with the death of her baby. She is now seen as a victim." Maastricht press officer Wim Smits confirmed that the woman is no longer considered a suspect.
