LANDGRAAF - The lawyer of lewdness suspect Marcel T. from Landgraaf is going to court. T.'s photo and address have been on the Internet site 'Dutch Pedophiles' since Friday, Feb. 6. When the site 'Stop Kindersex', an initiative of the Rotterdam-based anti-pedophilia activist Yvonne van Hertum, was no longer accessible in the middle of last week, T. and his lawyer thought that T.'s data were no longer on the Internet. But the American site, whose link was on "StopKindersex," is still accessible. "Then I am now going to ask a colleague of mine to take civil action against this," said T. 's Maastricht lawyer Serge Weening. Weening is a criminal lawyer himself and prefers to leave this civil case to a specialized colleague. T. is suspected of lewdness with two minors and of raping an 18-year-old boy. The appeal in this case is due Feb. 26. T. was found guilty of possession of child pornography and a weapon in the same case.
A mother of the nine-year-old boy says she recently filed a report against T. "Three weeks ago he ran after my son on the Hereweg in Landgraaf. He shouted, 'come here boy'. But we had warned him and he fortunately kept running towards home. This frightened my son so much that the police advised me to take him to the GP."
For fear of repetition, the mother has been bringing and picking up her son every day since. In connection with the privacy of those involved, the police do not want to confirm that a police report has been filed against T. The police also cannot report whether this report will be included in the appeal. T. denies the entire incident. He and his lawyer have not yet heard anything about the report, they report in a comment.
