On September 4, 2018, more than 130 kilograms of MDMA-containing substances were found in a shed in Heerlen. Four suspects were arrested at the scene and were suspected by the prosecution, among other things, of processing MDMA-containing powder into XTC tablets and intentionally having the aforementioned amount of hard drugs present.
