Sittard-Geleen - Sergio Klein is back in court on Monday. The councilman from Sittard-Geleen was previously acquitted of libel against former alderman Pieter Meekels, but the prosecution appealed.

That serves at 9 a.m. in the Den Bosch court of appeal. The court in Maastricht acquitted Klein in December. Although his statements were "hurtful," if someone is attributed a certain characteristic, legally that should not qualify as libel. In the ruling, the judge referred to an earlier Supreme Court ruling.
