DEN BOSCH - A 46-year-old man from Mierlo was sentenced Monday on appeal to 15 years in prison and tbs with compulsory treatment for the manslaughter of 77-year-old Pieter Besuijen from Eindhoven.The sentence is 2 years higher than the sentence the court imposed on him. The victim was brutally killed 4 years ago at the Blauwe Kei gay meeting place in Lierop. The perpetrator stabbed him so often with a knife that there was talk of torture.

The Mierlon man was previously convicted of murdering his mother in December 1998.
