From toy dinosaurs to shampoo: robbed bargain giant Action finds thousands of products in Sittard (Limburger.nl)

Sittard - The internationally operating retail chain Action has been robbed on a large scale. Stolen goods were sold illegally in a Sittard second-hand store. It involved a wide range of products; from shampoo to toy dinosaurs.

On Monday, a second-hand store located on the Monseigneur Vranckenstraat in Sittard had a visit from the criminal investigation department. A police spokeswoman confirmed this to De Limburger. No one has been arrested. "Action reported to the police the fact that it had concluded that items were being sold that could only be sold by Action. As part of this, an investigation was launched," the police spokeswoman explained. Whether any suspects are in sight, she would not reveal, as the investigation is still ongoing. "But items seized in the store include household products and toys." Some 2,000 products were reportedly taken Monday. Both police and Action will not comment on that number.
