Eighteen years in prison for robbery with death in Den Bosch
DEN BOSCH - The court on Thursday sentenced a 42-year-old man and his 36-year-old girlfriend to 18 years in prison for killing two residents in the Steve Bikostraat in Den Bosch last May. Victims were a 64-year-old Den Bosch resident and his 34-year-old disabled roommate. The suspects were acquaintances of the perpetrators.
The couple robbed the 64-year-old man in his home and killed him. His roommate was later killed in a car and dumped in a ditch near Kerkwijk, Gelderland. The couple denies any involvement in the victims' deaths. Important evidence in the case is the statement a woman transported with her boyfriend from the House of Detention to the court. The suspects allegedly confessed to this co-passenger.
