Current criminal case

A double interview by Serge Weening and Bo te Baerts (Advocatie.nl)

Serge Weening was the last lawyer trainee of Max Moszkowicz sr. He now has his own criminal law firm and trains lawyers himself. One of them is Bo te Baerts, who is now an associate attorney at his firm. What characterizes their bond and what have they learned from each other?

After completing his student internship with Max Moszkowicz Sr., Serge Weening (49) went to work for the famed criminal lawyer as a voluntarist. "I saw what I could learn with him and wanted to invest," he said. When he graduated, Moszkowicz sr. asked him to become his lawyer trainee. As this master's last pupil, Weening learned from him the tricks of the trade.

Weening, in turn, passes on that wisdom to the lawyers at the firm he started in 2004: Weening Criminal Lawyers. Bo te Baerts (28) is one of the attorney interns he has trained. She finished her internship last August and has been an associate attorney at his firm ever since.
