A duo that fled from the police after a burglary at a company on the Napoleonsweg in Neer and tried to dump the stolen computer equipment by the side of the road was arrested on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. They are two men aged 28 and 46 from Hoensbroek.Officers saw a car parked at the N279/N273 intersection in Horn. When they wanted to check the occupants, they took off at high speed. On the Baexemerweg in Horn, they threw items out of the car, which had previously been stolen in Neer. Their car later came to a stop. The driver (46) was apprehended, the 28-year-old suspect managed to escape on foot. He was apprehended later that night on the Geenraderweg in Baexem. Police have not yet found a third occupant, who also escaped.
