LELYSTAD - The court in Lelystad on Thursday sentenced 36-year-old D.W. to 30 years in prison for the manslaughter of Amsterdam resident Brian Stein and the murder of René Karamatali from Almere in October 2008. The court will rule on other suspects in the case later in the afternoon.Stein was found weeks after his death in the trunk of his car, which was parked in Nieuw Vennep. Karamatali's body was found in a sewer drain in Almere. The prosecutor's office (OM) demanded a 30-year prison sentence against the two main suspects. The prosecutor assumed that J.D.(49) ordered W. to kill the two.
