The court in Maastricht has sentenced three men from Brunssum to very long prison terms for the murder of their fellow townsman Sven Prins and attempted murder of his friend Nicky.

Xionel B. (29) must serve 30 years in prison, Jurandy T. (32) received life in prison and Sergio K. (27) also received 30 years.

Prince was shot dead in September 2015 after a chase. His friend survived the attack. The murder is said to be the sad low point of a long-running feud in the Limburg drug circuit. An undercover agent unmasked the suspects by buying heavy weaponry from them.
