Criminal youth gang: Six leaders still in custody (1Limburg.nl)
The six leaders of the youth gang, which was busted in Parkstad early this year, are still in custody.
This is because they are not due in court until later this month, De Limburger reported.
Park City Gang
Tuesday, Jan. 10, a large-scale operation arrested 14 people, aged 15 to 23. The group is suspected of dozens of crimes in Limburg and just across the border, allegedly committed last year. The 14 were arrested during raids on premises in Heerlen, Hoensbroek, Amstenrade, Brunssum, Schinveld and Landgraaf. The gang had a mafia-like structure.
Weapons and drugs
In the operation, 250 officers and military personnel raided 20 locations. Among the items found were weapons, hard drugs, cash, a stolen car and stolen car parts.
