Criminal trial on mistrial in Cruquius begins today (NU.nl)

The North Holland District Court today begins the multi-day criminal trial of a mistrial kidnapping in Cruquius. The case revolves around a violent kidnapping of a then 56-year-old man from Hoofddorp. The criminal trial has ten defendants.
The victim was pulled from his car near the Cruquius residential boulevard on August 5, 2021, pushed into a bus and taken away. The victim, mistaken for another person by the perpetrators, was thrown out of a car injured five days later in a Delft residential area.
