Victim of cafe brawl died
GELEEN - A 47-year-old man from Geleen died Saturday as a result of a bar brawl on Carnival Sunday in Geleen. In connection with this, the police have arrested four people, the Maastricht Public Prosecutor's Office (OM) announced Sunday.The Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) will perform autopsies on Sunday to determine the cause of death. The four arrested men are suspected of attempted manslaughter. The main suspect is a 31-year-old Geleen resident, who had previously been jailed for eight years for the murder of a Geleen innkeeper.
