Brabant loverboy arrested (Telegraaf.nl)

EINDHOVEN - The 31-year-old H. A. from Waalre in Brabant has been named by the Brabant Zuid-Oost criminal investigation department as the main suspect in a very large-scale investigation into the recruitment and rape of Polish girls, who are forced to work as prostitutes in our country. The man is behind bars. This is stated in the now leaked police file, accessed by De Telegraaf.

The criminal practices led by A. allegedly took place frequently in recent years in Amsterdam, Venlo, Eindhoven and Maasbracht. The case came to light when a 22-year-old Polish woman reported it to the police. The woman identified ringleader H. A., whom she calls her "loverboy" in the leaked police documents, as the mastermind behind, among other things, the brutal exploitation.

The illegally residing Polish national ran into A. in a café in Valkenswaard, after which she became increasingly entangled in her lover's web. This meant, among other things, that the woman was forced to work as a prostitute in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. She further stated that she was brutally raped by one of A.'s accomplices in an Eindhoven home.

H. A. is currently officially suspected of human trafficking and laundering criminal funds, among other things. According to Maastricht criminal lawyer Serge Weening, his client had an amorous relationship with the declarant. "The accusations against him stem from resentment after the breakup of the relationship."
