The court granted justice Tuesday permission to hear two experts from the Pieter Baan Center on triple murder suspect Thijs H. (28). These experts consider the Brunssumer completely insanity-prone.
The Justice Department questions this and therefore requested to hear the two.
Three victims
Thijs previously admitted to stabbing three people to death. His victims were a woman in The Hague and a man and a woman on Brunssummer Heath. They all lost their lives in May of this year. Not much later, the Brunssum suspect was arrested.
Tbs with injunctive relief
Experts from the Pieter Baan Center therefore consider Thijs to be completely insane and recommend imposing a tbs measure with compulsory rehabilitation. On Tuesday morning, the Justice Department was critical of the report and announced additional investigations and a new interrogation.
Family members heard
In addition to the experts, Thijs' parents, sister and ex-girlfriend will also be heard again. Three of them, only the sister not, have been heard by the police before, but since then, according to the justice department, a lot of new information has come to the table. With that information, justice wants to confront the family members.
