Police have arrested two men on suspicion of multiple home burglaries. The duo allegedly struck in several places in Limburg and Zeeland.
A 30-year-old man from Heerlen was already arrested last Thursday. The second suspect is a 50-year-old man from Maastricht. He was arrested this Thursday morning. Both men were arrested in Maastricht.
Multiple cars
According to police, the Heerlen man is at least suspected of burglaries in Merselo on Jan. 22 and in Arcen on Feb. 15. He is also allegedly involved in six residential burglaries in Zeeland. All of those burglaries were committed on Jan. 15. He also allegedly broke into several cars.
Rented
Several cars were used in the burglaries. The Maastricht man appeared to have rented these cars.
Police say they are still investigating. According to police, there is a good chance that the 30-year-old Heerlen man is involved in more residential burglaries.
