The mother of the three-year-old boy found dead in Vaals last year will not be prosecuted further by the justice system. Her lawyer informed this to De Telegraaf.
The woman was initially charged with infanticide, which later changed to aggravated assault resulting in death. However, the case against her has now been dismissed for lack of evidence.
Suspicious circumstances
The little boy died under suspicious circumstances at a residence in Vaals on April 17, 2014. A day later, the mother was arrested in Germany.
