Kerkrade/Maastricht - Willem S. (45) from Brunssum and Jairzinho C. (53) from Landgraaf were acquitted by the Maastricht court this week of a home robbery in Kerkrade in December 2021. The two did receive punishment for (fire) weapon and drug possession. Co-defendant Esmeralda C. from Landgraaf goes free.

On Dec. 3, 2021, three men invaded a home in Kerkrade around 5:30 p.m. The owner of the house and a visitor were tied up, given a cloth over their heads and tape over their mouths. The men left with 400 euros and two gold watches.
