Supreme Court ruling in case of triple murder suspect Thijs H. (Limburger.nl)

The Hague - The Supreme Court will rule Tuesday in the case of triple murder suspect Thijs H. He was sentenced last March by the court of appeal in Den Bosch to 22 years in prison and tbs with compulsory treatment for stabbing three people to death.

The cassation proceedings at the Supreme Court revolve around the question of the extent to which H. was insane as a result of the mental delusions he had in May 2019. H. confessed to killing a 56-year-old woman in the Scheveningse Bosjes in The Hague on May 4 that year. Three days later, he struck on Brunssummerheide, where he first stabbed to death a 63-year-old woman and a short time later stabbed to death a 68-year-old man.
