A 30-year-old man from Geleen was arrested Sunday night after he assaulted a trooper during a patrol.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Green Street. The man was reportedly having a traffic argument with a woman beforehand when the trooper drove by. Bystanders waved and pointed at the man, after which the trooper addressed him.
