NIJMEGEN - The lawyer of the Nijmegen man suspected of murdering a 68-year-old woman in Nijmegen wants to hear two witnesses again. One of them is the girlfriend of the 41-year-old suspect. The victim was shot dead in her home on the Cronjéstraat on the night of June 11 to 12 last year. She allegedly provided the man and his girlfriend with a mailing address for benefits, but confessed this to social services. After the murder, shots were fired at two more places in Nijmegen, seriously wounding a man.
