Justice merges two murder cases (Limburger)
The Maastricht Public Prosecutor's Office (OM) has added a new murder case to the case of Schinveld resident Mouhammed al Jader, who was murdered last year, and that of Alan Gergeri, who has been missing since 2009.
The prosecution announced this on Tuesday in response to a report in the Telegraph. The investigation surrounding the 29-year-old Al Jadar is now focusing on two murders and the disposal of two remains. On March 19, during a hearing before the court in Maastricht, the prosecution will announce the suspicion in these cases and why they have been combined.
Al Jader was shot dead in a residence in Germany on Aug. 6, 2011; his body was later found in Belgium. Four suspects were previously arrested in this case; two others are fugitives. The exact connection between the two cases and the roles of the suspects are still being investigated.
More will be announced on March 19.
