No evidence of lewdness at PuberEnZo
MAASTRICHT - The founder-owner of the Heerlen private care agency PuberEnZo was acquitted yesterday of sexual abuse of youngsters in his care. The prosecution had demanded seven years two weeks ago.According to the court, the alleged abuse cannot be proven because there is no evidence other than the statements of the three victims. The 42-year-old cab driver Marcel T. himself denies having abused the boys.
The court stated that "facts like this" usually have a great impact on all involved. "That is no different in this case, especially since it involves sexual abuse allegedly committed by an adult man with boys entrusted to his care." Vice cases often involve only two people present during the sexual acts, the court considered.
