The suspect in the stabbing earlier this week in Heerlen was arrested Saturday afternoon in Maastricht.
The 23-year-old man with no fixed abode was arrested "in a residence," police announced. The suspect is in custody and will be arraigned Monday.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the stabbing, Thursday night on Meppelstraat in the Schaesbergerveld neighborhood. Police informed at the time that the stabbing was the result of an argument between several people.
