Three years in prison for shooting and hemp-growing Albanians in Sittard (Limburger.nl)

Two armed Albanian guards of a hemp nursery in Sittard did not fire at members of an arrest team. They were, however, sentenced to three years in prison for menacing, hemp cultivation and possession of a weapon.

The court in Roermond acquits Albanians Sokol D. (45) and Genzi B. (50) of attempted manslaughter of members of the arrest team in 2017. No technical evidence was found that they were shot at purposefully. Shots were fired in the air to scare the members of the arrest team who were on the roof of the shed with hemp plants on Nusterweg to prepare for a raid through a ventilation grate.
